Gazprombank, other banks to provide 600 bln rbl on Eastern Polygon

MOSCOW, Nov 15 (PRIME) -- Gazprombank, jointly with other banks, can provide 600 billion rubles for the third stage of construction of the Eastern Railway Polygon, a spokesperson for the bank told PRIME on Wednesday.

"The cost of the entire third stage stands at 2 trillion rubles, and the bank with the help of other credit organizations, is ready to provide 600 billion rubles," the representative said.

First Vice-President Alexei Chichkanov said that Gazprombank will participate in construction of a high-speed railway between Moscow and St. Petersburg either as a shareholder, or holder of senior debt. The shareholder structure was being discussed, he added.
